Are you referring to the marks at the center of my screen shot? I'm not answering for G, but that looks to me like it is just part of the leather. All natural materials (and cows) have slight variations that are make each unique.

How well does the wallet hold up Euro's?  Says the wallet is 90mm tall and from what I can tell the tallet Euro banknote is at 82mm.

I checked a €100 note and it fits fine, the €200 and €500 are the same depth - so no probs….

With that forecast in mind it seems you're in a pickle with which wallet is right to bring with you on your travels.  You'd need:

One wallet without a coin pocket when you travel in the UK (less coins).
One wallet with a coin pocket when you travel in mainland Europe (less notes, more coins).

Simple.  Just get two different Iron Heart wallets.  Problem solved.

I realised when looking back through some photos today, that this year, this wallet will be 10 years old.  Those of you who know me will know that I don't baby my stuff, so frankly, I'm amazed at how this is holding up…..
