Doesn't look bad at all, especially as a standalone piece...fit can be subjective...sleeves would "feel" short on me as I move around.

Thanks, @Jord - The size large arrived over the weekend. The sleeves are pretty much perfect. The body is a bit large with nothing but a tee shirt underneath, but it's not a tent. It feels pretty good with a flannel underneath. I could probably wear the medium just fine, and it would fit better with just a tee, but I'll probably hold on to the large.

          For the benefit of others, I'm about 5'10", 168 pounds, 34-35" waist, and I wear a 40R sport/suit coat.

Just got this jacket in and it is a perfect fit everywhere except for the sleeve opening. It fits well once I slide my hand through but it is a tight fit to get my hands in and out.

Anyone have experience with washing jackets with this whipcord material? I know the product page says no further shrinkage but sometimes I have seen people do get some.

If this were to shrink at all, it would be unusable for me. Getting my hands out is more difficult than getting them in. Trying to decide if I am going to keep this one or not unfortunately.

@Ral1121 I would hold off on washing this jacket as long as possible, if ever.

@emilink @Anesthetist @rahrah12 @Tobi @vic_1977 @Jord - thanks much IH fam! I ultimately sent it back in to exchange it for a medium. I know this sounds odd, but it was just a bit too perfect fitting so if i decide to wear even a thermal under it, it's fitted-fitted. i feel that given how close the measurements are between all the sizes, the medium should give me just a little bit more tolerance without looking billowy. i'll be sure to post a fit update as soon as i receive the medium.

@Art-Vandelay I think I would've done the same. knowing what bothers me with sleeves and coats I prefer a bit more room, unless my intention is to wear the item "fitted". Look forward to seeing how the Medium compares.

I have last season's lightweight N-1 model in XXL. Should I stick with the same size in the olive colorway? I'm looking at the size chart, and it looks like XXL is slightly larger.

Just got this. It's amazing. I'm thinking about pulling the drawstring on the hem out... Am I crazy?

@west8080 Measure your current XXL and compare measurements to the size chart would be my advice.

@Yikes I have a similar thought, I don't have it in my other N1 and it hanging just seems weird to me, but not sure what I'll do...

Glad I got the medium over the small. While I can layer a dress shirt and sweater with the jacket, it doesn't feel as wide as the listed measurements. It's probably the whipcord and liner taking up a bit of the space.

These sleeves must be shorter than their other jackets as I don't think I will have shorten them.

@Yikes - I might pull my drawstring out as well. It doesn't offer much functionality in this particular jacket.
