Restocks of The Flat Head 3002 in.

We just received The Flat Head Speck Western Flannel in blue. We stocked it in the standard slim fit but also in the regular cut.

This is not available across the board with the Flat Head shirts but when I saw it in this blue check I decided to bring it in in answer to those whose body shape rules out the standard fit.

The Regular Size shirts have more room in the chest and shoulders compared to the standard version in the same size.
So a 42R will have the same length as a 42, but will have about the same shoulders and chest as a 43-44.
The measurement from the collar to the hem of the sleeve will be the same on both types of shirts.

The flannel has a speck-like pattern that’s particularly visible in the darker parts of the fabric. It has cream-coloured hexagon buttons and Universal snaps. Like the heavy flannels this shirt has got the features common to pretty much all FH shirts; selvedge custom made fabric with selvedge inner placket, selvedge edges used for gusseting the hem, sewn double chainstitching over felled seams.

Finally, we now have plain navy and white THC series heavyweight tees with triple stitched collars and no side seams due to their tubular construction. The size 46 runs pretty large for TFH so check out the size guides.

That new Flat Head slim cut flannel looks fantastic. Your descriptions says "lighter weight"; how light is lighter? Is it still a winter time only heavy flannel? Or doable in warmer climes?

Thanks for asking, SSOL. It is flexible for most seasons. It is not as thick as the heavy flannels. It is new lighter fabric. It still has the incredible softness you associate with TFH flannels. The fit is great. We carry it in the regular version with an extra inch in the chest and shoulder but same body length.

No. The fabric has been rinsed so no noticeable shrinkage at all

                  Hi SSOL,

Just arrived in Tokyo for quick visit and found this. The web server company is currently investigating how this happened and is going over the server logs. Hopefully the site will be restored soon.
Made me feel physically sick when I saw it. Time for  beers while the geeks do their work.

We are going to be in the workshop virtually every day until the end of the month so get in touch if you!re visiting London during this time or considering a visit. just book by appointment first danny@rivetandhide.com
As always, we can  be very flexible with times. After work appointments are very popular.

But any visit would, more than likely involve spending money… On the other hand it would be a shame to be in London and not visit... hmm. Thinking.

Would love to drop in as will be up in town week after next accompanying my wife on a shopping trip, but unless you have any women's jeans it's possible I may not be able to persuade her 😞

I also know what I want for Xmas 😃

Thanks, still very tempted by that IndigoFerra jacket. And TFH Wabash… Probably a good job that you don't stock any boots at the moment as well ;).

Check out the thickest flannel TFH has ever made with indigo design dropping later this week. It has the substantial feeling of wool with the softness and comfort of cotton.
