I wore a pair of Iron Heart 888 XHS 25oz for IIY5.
I managed to get 335 wear days on them.
I lost 24 days of wear when KLM Airlines lost my luggage with my jeans inside at Amsterdam Airport.
I had a European holiday, they had their own holiday at the Airport.
At least they were finally found and I got my luggage back.
Could’ve been 359 wears.
I cold soaked them before day 1 of wear and didn’t wash them until day 333 of wear (almost the full 12 months).
Aired out everyday, occasional fabric spray, low odour before wash.
Noticeable indigo loss after wash (but not a huge amount).
Crotch blow out concerns was the main inspiration for the wash, although no signs of crotch blow out yet.
Post wash fabric was back to its stiff, cardboard feeling from early days of breaking them in, that I’d started to forget, but they quickly softened.
In hindsight if I’d washed them a few more times, I’m sure the fades would more significant, but I have long term relationship plans for this pair, not just a 12 month fling…

My bridge is Samurai S310xx19ozii! Not 100% sure on IIY6 tho honestly.

@worn2fade if the 684 drop in a 16oz slub before April, I might jump in. The 666S UHR I’ve been sitting on for Y6 got their first wear yesterday after learning Y6 doesn’t start in Sept like I thought it would.

The last two months have been not great as it was just to hot for my taste
Now they need some repair 
I‘m still lookikg forward to some milder temperatures and especially autumn

@Davids_denim I considered 18oz or my bridge, but I really want a faded pair of black in the line up. I'm pretty sure I'm going with XHSib for Y6.

Great year fading with everyone. Going get these repaired and will be back in rotation.
Some highlights but not all. Wore few days in puerto Vallarta Mexico, got trapped in rain storm flood street river, up to my ankles in water kinda fun lol. Bike rides, dog walks. Some skating, Lots of date nights, SF NorCal adventures, studied my ass off and passed my CA real estate exam in these. Went to a lot of concerts/shows in these. Have list of bands on my IG page -
Well I am happy witht the way my pair faded. Now I have a nicely faded black pair . I am going to be wearing a pair of uhr in the 888 cut for my bridge pair.

Wouldn’t say I got the results I was hoping for but starting a new career of teaching kind of put daily wear out of the question. Total dad jeans, loved em.
