@Larkens as breatheable as a 21oz shirt could be I suppose. I wore it all last summer and survived. Once I got used to wearing it every day, it felt weird not wearing it.

Thanks man! Definitely get one without a doubt there is no CPO like the 21oz.
Here are the notes from my denim counter:
Start: 6/15/2025
1st wash: 61 wears 8/20/25
2nd: 74 wears 9/11/25
3rd: 112 wears 10/26/25
4th: 150 wears 12/27/25
5th: 178 wears 2/14/26
6th: 186 wears 2/28/26 -
@Oaktavia the frequent washing has done this one wonders. I think I’ll start washing my 21oz 666 monthly when it goes back on.

@Davids_denim yes I agree, and I absolutely had to wash it when each time came. Especially wearing it in the heat. It would just get gross and a wash was absolutely necessary each time. 21oz denim starts to noticably lighten up after the 5th or 6th wash.

@Oaktavia what’s your wash method? Hand wash or just chuck it in the machine on low spin?

@dcw2740 same as all of my denim: soak in warm water and detergent for an hour in a utility sink or tub inside out. Straight to the washer using regular cotton cycle. No spin for new denim and low spin for denim that has been washed a handful of times. Hang dry preferably in the sun on a warm day if possible.
