      USD13 per pack here

About that for Marlboro. Parliament about a dollar more. And American Spirits are $15 or more… INSANE!

haha its alot cheaper across but its due to the exchange rates… for the locals there, its still expensive.  😉 anyway, RM$10 for a pack over there. which is about $4 which is a huge saving.. however, getting caught with unpaid duty cigarette at the customs is no joke.. $200 fine baby... singapore is a FINE country...

Keep on going - suddenly one evening you'll think to yourself, holy shit I did not think about smoking at all today…...

I cannot wait! The maintenance guys were up in my office today trying to get me to smoke their crazy Russian Cigs. I held strong. Just trying to think of the money saved and the fact that I actually might be able to run soon..

Hi Lando and PJ yeah hold strong. I smoked for 17 years and stopped from one day to the other on a New Years day, my daily average was 1 package (sometimes more towards 2). I was pretty f**** up for some months but I have never regretted at all that I quitted. Now after some clean years I still have this kind of addiction behaviour but can control it without problem and without smoking. So good luck, keep strong

                          Cheers,
                          David

Great! We can use each other as a support system. Yes the Headache the first two days was INSANE! Day 3 is not as bad, yet. We shall see how I do over the weekend. I can't even believe I am doing this. No excessive flem yet, but I am sure it is on the way. And oddly enough, I have not been more hungry. Was worried but it has not seemed 5to be a problem thus far.

Thanks davito! My plan is to substitute the cig addiction with Water. Well, that and the ecigs for the moment. Cheers

It has really struck me how many more people smoke over here in Europe than back home in Australia. The last week or two I've been in Paris and northern Italy, and it seems like everyone smokes! Even at a medical conference plenty of the doctors were heading out for smokes between lectures, which I found amazing.
Good luck to any 'quitters' out there!

the worst is waking up fighting the urge to have a cigarette with your morning coffee.
the good thing is my nose isn`t constantly clogged and i sleep way better!
