I don’t like the fade, sorry
-
Hi all, I’m a total newbie, understand very little about jeans/denim, but understand enough to distinguish my 21oz IH 666’s with other jeans I have.
My problem is this, and I did use the search tool before deciding to ask experts, how can I avoid (or minimise) the criss cross fading at the back of the knees(apologies if it has a specific name) Blasphemy I know, but I really don’t like it.
Any advice……..be kind -
Honey combs can be very much sought after, but yeah some people just want their jeans to look "new" with minimum fades... Especially if you're in a workplace or professional setting where you don't want people seeing your faded jeans and knowing you have worn them for the past 4 months everyday and haven't washed them once! Like Giles said, washing regularly will stop high contrast fades and have more vintage fades...

You get less defined honeycombs with a more flowy cut. 555's will comb more than a 634 for instance.
