IHSH-413-IND - 5oz Selvedge Dobby Cloth Western Shirt - Indigo

Ideal for warmer climates, this western-style shirt is made from a dobby loom woven 5oz selvedge cloth. Shuttle woven slowly and loosely, this lightweight fabric provides excellent ventilation with a soft, three-dimensional waffle-like texture. The origins of dobby cloth date back to the mid-1800s, and production methods have remained the same ever since. The technique involves attaching a piece of equipment known as a "dobby" to the loom, which is used to manipulate the yarns during weaving, creating subtle variations in the fabric’s texture. Indigo dyed to allow for fading through wear, this is a highly breathable shirt that brims with character.

@jebrand although technically the same weight this one has more texture to the hand and I think feels a little more substantial but that may be because of the 3D waffle texture on this one. Quite similar to the IHSH-96 as well but more lightweight and breathable. A really nice summer shirt

@AdamC this one is high on the list for me, along with the indigo/black western, the CPO and the cotton/linen. Plus the khaki jacket. The curse of coming to the party late

@Tago-Mago Yeah taking nothing away from the IHSH-357 because it's a lovely shirt, but this one is nicer in my opinion. The waffle look and texture takes it to another level

Is this one very similar to the IH-417 just with longer sleeves?

@bluemantra No I would say they are very different ignoring the obvious similarities of being 5oz and indigo. The shade of indigo is different, the weave and texture is different and the reverse is very different. I would check out the macro pics of each on the respective web pages to see the differences.
