When I was in Berlin last week, I went to the (in)famous KaDeWe to check out their Whisky section. I met a Diageo guy there that offered somple samples of the well known Malts. But I managed to buy one small sample of the Lagavulin 21 Year Old Cask Strength…By far the most expensive Whisky I've gotten so far (accounted for the whole bottle, that retailed for 700€ and should be much more by now). Well, I'm super excited about that one, I tell you.

Love Hibiki 12. I have some Hakushu in my cabinet as well.

Haven't tried the Hakushu yet, was going to get a bottle of Yoichi 15 but decided on a Balvenie 15 Single Barrel instead.

Have you tried the Hibiki 17? I heard that one is absolutely delicious. If the 12 is already that good (my favorite blended)…
