I find them a bit cheap feeling myself, and they're a bit fashion-y for my tastes.
The frames come off quite big and chunky. But that could also just be a personal preference!
I'm a noted fan of Moscot (mainly since I can get them for a very fair price personally) and find their shapes a bit more classic.
I need to get into Japanese eyewear honestly, just unsure of where to start.

Mates have bought some from cubitts and also Bailey & Nelson.

Handmade by them and pretty damn reasonable pricing. May not be what you are after though!

It's done .. I've made my decision -> PERSOL 3050 V 966

… and I'm very happy, I can devote my time again for more pleasant things.

'Fuzz is 8mm Japanese Acetate.
I believe the Uncrowds are 8mm, as well … But, EFFECTOR has versions in 10mm, even

Chromeheart TNUC__ also @8mm, but a bit heavier due to the silver ware.

They are nice G.F. LOVE that color! I have a pair of his black selvedge denim laying in my room. I should really sell them as they taper too much for my taste….
