I'm spoiled: my senses have been numbed by the brilliance of IH shirts… I've got used to the outstanding quality of the stuff, the unique feeling of the fabrics... But now and then it dawns on me just how special these feckers really are...

Washed this Wabash bastard for a 2nd time to get rid of the rest of the shrinkage. It now fits exactly how I wanted it to, and is therefore ready for some hard wear...

We've discussed that the dirty, brown-ish hue on the 55 was something special... But the 62 has it's own mad advantage: it will fade like a pair of 25 oz jeans... Behold!..

I toss 'm (this time I washed my ALD jeans, TWSH-05, IHSH-50 and IHSH-62) in the washing machine inside out, add some liquid Ecovert, use the Delicate setting, 40C° and 600 RPM… Hangdry... Have a beer...

Just turn the fecker inside out and you'll be good… And try to not use the machine for just one shirt mate... Oh I'm silly caring about our environment and all that  😉

Because the warp and weft are rope dyed on the IHSH-62, the IHSH-55 fabric was fabric dyed…..

Does everybody with the IHSH-62 have an Iron Heart label on the pocket? Mine didn't come with one, which is totally fine with me. Aside from the leather patch on the back of my jeans, I don't really like labels on the outside of my clothes.

SW.  Damn, we knew we had one without a label and we were supposed to ask if it was OK to ship before we did.  But of course, we forgot.  Sorry.  G

It was actually quite serendipitous. I was wondering how I could get the label off without damaging the shirt, and it didn't even have one. It was like you actually read my mind! Thanks, the shirt is perfect, and just how I wanted it! No apology necessary.

Also, I washed it right away, and now it fits me perfectly.
