Is there a reason IH doesn't have anything in the way of garments made from sashiko fabric?

I've been curious about it for a while now; I'm guessing that it's primarily because a sashiko item up to IH standards would be prohibitively expensive?  I'd figure a heavy sashiko shirt would sell like hotcakes here.

My feeling is that sashiko doesn't quite fit the IH aesthetic.

Just because it is Japanese and an amazing fabric does not make necessarily make it a candidate for IH.  Our aesthetic nods to US workwear…..

I apologize if it's been addressed before but, any chance the grey/black buffalo check UHF makes a return?

Not in 2017 for def.  Possibly further into the future, but that depends upon the continued viability of UHF…

@Giles Please remake the IHSH-64 in black xxxl. It's the best shirt ever. I've worn mine so much it's getting threadbare.

And with the rest of the fabric please make lounge/sweatpants. Zipper fly, slash pockets, jeans like pockets with IH arcs and Triple Works W.  please see attached diagram. Click it to make it bigger. (I still can't post pictures).

Hahaha thanks Giles. I think they would be awesome. That fabric is really great. It get so soft and is warm but not too warm.

If that meant bringing back the 64, or something similar to it, I'd be a very happy bunny.

In the next run of 777 25 oz XHS I'd love a pair of 38s with a zipper fly. I know you'll say no. But I'd definitely love to be able to go pee easier.

I don't know if this has been discussed here before, but I would love it if you made some kind of slim cut or variant to the 555/777 cut that had a shorter inseam than the current 36-37 inches.

My height is pretty average (5'10), but when I buy IH jeans I have to remove about 6-7 inches off the bottom (and double cuff them) if I want to avoid stacking (which I do), since most of the models are sanforised and will barely shrink.

Is that something you would consider?

No, sorry.  We are not large enough to carry multiple inseam lengths.

We have about 60 combinations of style/denim.  That's bad enough, without doubling or trebling up on what we stock.

We have to stock one inseam length and then hem to size on Unity.  It's the only way it can work.
