What a nice shop! Thanks for the link, Shuba. The navy blue wool down vest is pretty great, I find. I need to find a money tree! 😉

Looking at ratuken, it's obvious that Crescent Down Works' (CDW) biggest market is Japan. The variety of products CDW makes for Japan is insane (even colorful plaid Pendleton wool down vests) – and of course -- the ratuken CDW products carry Japanese price tags.

Can this thread go in the Haraki-San Division in hope that he looks at it more and so it is easier to access? Seems lost in the Products.

Surprised no one's said anything about an overdyed denim shirt.

Right on! They could call it the OD shirt! 😉 Seriously, though, good idea. Would be simple enough to produce. I'd actually do an indigo overdyed chambray. That would be awesome.

Are you trying to imply something here? And I am a fan of the Overdyed Chambray idea as well.

Daveo, what do you mean by "regular chambray"? Do you mean a blue/white chambray. The chambray definition is a light cotton cloth in a 1:1 weave (the most basic weave) with the two threads in different colors, one of them being white (usually).

If the regular chambray would be a light blue, the black overdye would most likely totally subdue it. I'm not sure but it probably makes sense to have a darker base color and the overdye in a lighter color just to give a cast. So I would try it out but probably it would make more sense to start with a black/white chambray material and then do a blue overdye.

Well, technically, jersey material as used in t-shirts and sweatshirt is knit. But that's certainly not what you mean.

I can imagine some very strict ribbed knits in the IH line, too, though.

I was thinking indigo chambray with black overdye, similar to the recent SelfEdge collabo.
