      @Tago-Mago but maybe I am being nice…

      I’ve been trying to track down a French cider for a bit and could only find sweeter local ciders. This one is quite nice and refreshing, where I find the local ones overly sweet and almost undrinkable.

        @goosehd I went to Bretagne for a week a while back with a group of friends, and one of my buddies and I shared a bottle of cidre every evening as an aperitif. Those guys know their cidre

              Nice sweet cider with tartness from the cherries to balance it out with an abv of 6.9 percent. I am really liking this one. It is 1911 black cherry hard cider from beak and skiff based out of Lafayette, Ny which is near Syracuse. I have seen it around before but hadn't tryed it until now.It is NY grown apples not sure on the cherries though.

                Not a beer. But one of my favorite ciders this time of year!

                          @landownunder My dad and I did many moons ago. I don't remember how it tasted although from memory it was pretty drinkable, but I do remember that it was a LOT of work crushing and pressing the apples.
                          Honestly, homebrewing beer is a lot less work if you have the gear already, there's a lot less manual labour involved 😅
