This summer I will mainly be wearing my IHD-01, and my forum hoodie.

Given that I live in a steamy, fetid swamp of a city, I won't be wearing summer weight jackets until about November. I wish it were different, however, as I love jackets.
Are those goggles on that hood, by the way?

You know that's one thing i'm glad about the weather here is at least it's variable enough to wear some good outerwear.
Yes they are lenses/eye pieces or 'googles' if you will, if you look at the winter coat thread you will see more variations. -
New month new choice of outerwear and thankfully we 'Up North' are missing all of the rain that many places 'Down South' is having at the moment and let me tell you that kind of thing does not happen very often. So is it bye bye April showers and hello Spring May flowers?? Well at this time for the rest of this week it does seem so but i'm not holding my breath so i'm keeping it Gore but going with Windstopper this month round and of course keeping the colour so i'll be wearing this:

I am trying to answer this question actually. Ideally, I'd be wearing 2526J but it's about 2" too short in the body for my liking. I've been browsing Carhartt which I quite like but nothing's really grabbed me. Anybody (especially the taller lads) got any suggestions for me?
Although, having received my IHD-01od today I suspect it's going to get the bulk of my wear this summer now.

Duck or cord. Something not-denim at least as I now have the IHD-01d, IHSH-33 and a cherished old Lee denim trucker jacket in my closet so a different material is required I think. Like I said, the 2526J is pretty much exactly what I'm after but the sizing won't work.

Nope but it's 1.75" shorter in the body than the Lee trucker style jacket I mentioned above ^ which is just perfect for me.

Dude, I'm 193 cents (6'4") and the Type III works well for me, have you tried it in the flesh?

So, a little advice if I may:
I have a Lee trucker-style jacket that fits really nicely and is one of my favourite things ever. I am looking at the Filson x Levi collab trucker and got them to send me measurements. Compared to my Lee, the Filson is:
-1" in the sleeve
+2.75" in the chestObviously, the wider chest is going to produce an effectively longer sleeve (this is obvious right? I'm not crazy?). Question is, will this effect be enough that I won't notice the shorter sleeve?
