Was wearing this today - perhaps for the last time for a while. Does anyone know what the two sewed bar tacks are on each sleeve? I can't figure the reason. Is it just aesthetics?

@will6er the tacks are usually for high stress areas, however I am unable to feel whether the storm cuff material is held in place by said tack.

There is a good 1.5 inches from where the storm cuff ‘ends’ to where the tacks are situated, but unfortunately it is not abundantly obvious that the storm cuff material is hidden/folded underneath by the 2 inch fold inside, but I would say the cuff is not held in place by the tacks and it is likely more aesthetics.
