Dang. Chest looks great on the medium but shoulders too narrow. Shoulders look great on the large but chest too big…hmmm

@Brandrea can’t believe how fast the size medium moved on this. Ultimately, I know if I take a size large I’ll probably be good. But I do feel like these lighter fabrics can be worn a bit more trim and feel great.

@Brandrea @Mizmazzle If you know that one of your measurements are critical, drop a note in the comments when purchasing to make sure they can accommodate you.

I just did it myself for the red as I sized down for that one, but went with the XL in the green.

Saves them and me time and money in the long run.

Edit: Both colours are awesome and pretty sure that they will be one of those classics that everyone wants desperately in a few years when they realize they’ve missed out.

I had some similar "in between" sizing issues with the western, I went with the work version. Either way this fabric is Money!!

Thank you for the reminder. I went ahead with the XL and made a note for the shop to see if they can ship me one with a 19” shoulder. Not a deal breaker, but would be nice!

Looking forward to this shirt. I don’t believe I own a single green item of clothing, unless you count my N1 as green.

Got a double order in with the flannel and some ivory chinos for the warmer months. I sized down to a medium from my usual large based on the chest measurements and it was the right call for a slimmer fit. Absolutely love the color. It looks even better in person.

Hey folks, looking for some support here with a fit check, on my ongoing quest to try and secure some short sleeve IH shirts.

After being in between sizes in the 359 (XL too small, XXL too big) I switched over to these 386s, as could see their XL dims were larger than the 359.

Here are pics of me wearing the 386 in this colour - what do you think? My main concern is the chest area and how you can see the shirt under slight tension when buttoned up. This was the largest chest dimension that was in stock in the XL at the time of purchase.

My regular shirt/UHF size is XXL, with some rare exceptions of XXXL. If I went up to XXL in this then I think that would resolve the chest issue, however, overall will very likely be too big.

Also thinking about the future and an inevitable wash which may mean some additional albeit very minimal shrinkage?

I am also totally open to that fact that I may be totally seeing this the wrong!

Thoughts from the community most welcome. Also posted fit pics of the other colour of this 386 in the appropriate thread. @goosehd open invitation to continue on this short-sleeved journey with me I think this fits better than the 359 XXL?

IMO it looks decent, and maybe without a tee underneath it would give you a tad more wiggle room?

I had the same problem, I finding the right fit in the green which was my first choice. I had to switch to the red as the measurements just works out better for me. I’m right between an XL and XXL in size.

The chest is a bit tight but if I sized up the body would be too baggy.

I had Josh measure a few and I was surprised by how much difference there was between the posted sizes and the actual measurements.
