@Brandrea they were on my radar to purchase but the measurements rained on my parade. I was waiting for those. 38 looks like a 36 and 40 looks like a 40. And here is my problem. 38 will be too small and 40 although it will be fine from thigh to hem the top block will be big.

I am currently slammed at work and totally missed any opportunity at IH to grab these. I saw that @guiltyparty had a 35 in stock and I ordered them late last week. They got in yesterday and I put them on when I got home. Perfect fit, as I went up one size from my normal 634 size. Thanks Champ & crew!

Got my pair in the other day! Hopefully there isn’t any shrinkage left in these as I got the inseam hemmed a little shorter than I wanted. Overall stoked on these, the overdye process really brings out the slubby texture

Just posted this on WRUW but thought I’d add some thoughts here.
Got them at Dutil after trying em on and was instantly smitten with em. Same exact story as my OD Type 3 Slub ironically. I’ve tried on 634’s before and they didn’t fit near this good. That’s why I stuck with 666’s. These just seem to be cut specifically for me and I’m loving them.
Shame Dutil is one of the shops that’s getting dropped by Ironheart.
at least now I can have an OD Slub-Tuxedo!

Can anyone comment on how the OD compare to the regular indigo in terms of softness? I already own the regular indigo and I’m trying to decide whether adding these is worth it. I just received a notification that my size is back in stock …

@Brandrea I compared my buddies type 3 slub to my type 2 od slub. They're both super soft. The OD is softer but I'm not sure it's a huge night and day difference. Regular slub is already soft. That's said, I find the OD slub to fade very nicely and love wearing it when I get the chance. Wearing as pants would be just as good of an experience I'd imagine.

@Brandrea great question. I don’t have the regular indigo slub and am curious myself.
I will say that the OD is really soft. The type 3 I bought my wife is noticeably less soft than my OD Slub type 3 I’ve been wearing for months. Almost like a completely different fabric but both jackets are from the same run. To that effect she’s committed to wearing her OD Slub on our morning walks despite it being to warm this morning.
Od slub gets really soft!!

@Brandrea I bought it for her, actually against her will haha. I told her I’d send it back to IH if she didn’t love it and that never happened.
The OD slub is really special imo and I feel they would most likely become one of your favourites. I have no experience with 14oz but I’d still steer you towards this pair. Totally biased opinion though -
I’ve noticed that too. I do already own the 14 oz indigo and they are “pretty crispy” compared to the 21oz. I was hoping maybe the 14 OD would be the sweet spot in terms of lightweight but “softer” feeling. There isn’t a whole lot of info over on the product page for the 14 oz OD.

Just got a pair last week, and really like them. Really comfortable, good drape. Mine are probably a size too big, but it's the right denim for a looser fit. Nice change in look and feel from the more typical IH denims. They remind me somewhat of the feel of wearing cords - comfy and tactile.
