Sturgill Simpson last night at the Mission Ballroom. Hell of a show. Though I haven’t gone that hard on a school night in a very long time…feeling it today.

Nick Cave was amazing. They played for almost 3 hours. Collin Greenwood of Radiohead is on bass for this tour and he’s accompanying him for his solo euro tour.

Lucinda Williams last night at Vega in Copenhagen. Seen her live last time in 2007, and she had a stroke some years back (and is 72 now...).. Amazing that she is keeping it up and still giving concerts.

My buddy asked me to go since we saw them together in 96 but I didn’t feel like driving to DC for them. Turns out it’s his anniversary so I told him he should take his wife. This was a revelation to him.
