42 Long.  My default Aero size…...

This is probably a noob question. A long time ago Amanda at Aero gave me the following instruction to determine size.  How did you determine 42L especially the L part?  I think I would be a long for sure I got monkey arms.

Stomach
Taken over what you are most likely to wear under the jacket

Because I always take 42L with Aero!!!  I tried on a 42R once and it was not long enough.  I normally take an L sometimes an XL in IH - work it out from there.

If you buy an Aero leather jacket through me, I supply a comprehensive sizing form to complete.

I hate to sound like a dickhead, but I'd LOVE a varsity jacket 100% melton wool, ie without leather sleeves.

Hmmm… How much pimping can we do?.. I'd like an all black version... Black IH patch, black '90' on sleeves, black IRON HEART capitals on the back, black stitching...

They will come with the standard patch on the front. That will not change.  We will supply and apply matching colour numerals to the arm, if you wish.

If you want anything else done, you source the patches and either send them in for us to apply or you apply them yourself.

So here we have the one I made for Mme B but I think somewehere along the line things got mixed up.  This is only marginally too small for me…..Doh

Mme B is normally a small in Iron Heart work shirts, the varsity was probably 1.5 inches two wide on the shoulder and an inch long in the arms.  She could probably get away with an XS (but she has a bust…...).....

Thanks G…. will long be an option for the IH-Var?  I am pretty sure my old monkey suit was long.  I know the sleeve length on my XL TWHRII is perfect.  I think its 27''  I will measure.

is making the bottom of the jacket a "coach" jacket opening an option?  the reason i never wear varsity jackets is because of the elastic bottoms.
