And if you are wondering if the back side of the right leg is more worn than the back side of the left leg, the answer is yes! Happens with all my jeans it seems. Must be down to how I sit/rest one leg over the other etc.

Currently at 253 wears.
1st wash at 117 wears.
2nd wash at 232 wears.

I would encourage you to try the Indigo Invitational at some point. Initially I thought that perhaps this wasn't for me, that I would miss my other pairs too much, but I've actually found it quite enjoyable. (And already started thinking about what pair to wear for the next one! )

For me it's gonna have to be some version of XHS next time I think (XHS, XHSib or XHSbb). The ultimate denim if you ask me.

The other option is the IGW-101B. I have a pair ready to go, and have never seen them faded, so could be a good alternative. Love black jeans, goes with everything.

@Mister_Brue Well, truth be told, I have other options ready to go as well The obsession runs deep. I do love that Shazam though.

Those are some great options. I always admire the more heritage oriented cuts and styles. (But couldn't personally pull off a year straight in them). Love the fades on the regular 21oz, and have seen some amazing examples of the 14oz IB. Hard to go wrong. I seem to recall reading somewhere that the Indigo Invitational wouldn't allow the 21oz serge a few years back (555SG) since they weren't technically denim, whatever that means. Might have changed now (and I could be misremembering), but might be worth asking them if you're thinking about entering with the 829.

Haha, I do get your point though!

Plenty of time to ponder it still, we should have until spring at least, maybe even summer, before the next one kicks off. And the pondering is certainly part of the fun.
