Wax Treasure (Vinyl)

[68degreesorless]

Spent big dough (for me) on a mid 80s Brazilian repress from discogs Brazilian seller but got this recent orange bootleg instead. They gave me partial refund but not enough to cover the difference in value. I feel like my hit rate on Discogs is maybe 7/10. Usually they get it right but plenty of turds out there. Luckily it’s still great music.

@68degreesorless I have a perfectly standard, recent edition of this album, yet I love it—the version of "Águas de Março" in particular is simply wonderful!

@68degreesorless love this era in the music of Brazil

You have any os mutantes in your collection?

I only have one of the modern world psychedelic classics comps

[68degreesorless]

@GraemeE Yes this era of Brazilian music is highly addictive...No os mutantes yet...hopefully some day

Weekend mornings are for instrumental Jamaican vibes players and you can’t prove me wrong. Lennie’s albums Creation and More Creation never stray too far from my turntable.

@Pointman Absolutely great! Love this theme. I’ve only one song of Lennie Hibbert on a Soul Jazz Records - Sudio One Rockers vinyl…
