On hold until this is cleaned and the temperature dropped.
Expecting a lot of this vinyl … heard with some wood burning in the background.

If you like research, sistersfan is worthy.

Love to see all of yours in the future.

@GraemeE Now we're talking. That album is incredible and originals are rarer than hen's teeth.

My haul in Bremen at The Iron Heart Meeting 2025 this weekend.

Was it you @GraemeE, who mentioned Arthur Verocai in here?

@endo scored some beautiful records also!

Many years ago, I was in Argentina and had a lead on a Brasilian OG but after discussing selling it to me, the seller decided he(rightfully) wanted to keep it. It was still rare back then but much more affordable. I went home with some other goodies but that Verocai white whale still taunts me.

Good to see some other Brazil heads here. I just ordered the book, The Brazilian Sound: Samba, Bossa Nova, and the Popular Music of Brazil. I recommend any of the Tres Selos / Rociante pressings. It’s the Acoustic Sounds of Brazilian labels in my mind.

It’s good stuff. Early 80s jazz record. Later career Milton Banana Trio paying tribute to his pal Tom Jobim. Not much improvisation or soloing but fun, punchy little numbers and Milton is a great drummer.

@GraemeE 35 songs on a triple LP and over 150 minutes of music. He curated it by himself and called it his (first) Decade.
Another five decades later, it is still a good compilation.
But I prefer the eight original releases, even when I’ve to skip from time to time.

@Aetas this copy my wife and I bought on our honeymoon 20 years ago

We ended up deciding to cut our trip through the California redwoods 2 days short so we could use the money we intended to use for hotels and food to buy a bunch of records

And if I haven’t said it in here …
You send me the ‘Box of Rain’ at a time it was most needed and appreciated.
But it took me a while to find out about it’s pertinence.
