After 6 weeks on the road, I'll be home again next weekend. Thinking of placing a record order to coincide with my arrival. I've been getting more interested in 60s and 70s funk, soul, and funk/soul-influenced jazz. I have names like Cymande, Bill Withers, Stevie Wonder, Boogaloo Joe Jones, Jimmy McGriff, Lou Donaldson, Booker T & th MGs, O'Donel Levy, and Jimmy Smith on my want list. Would love to hear any recs in that spirit from the group.

My first records were basically the Red and Blue albums. I still love them, and sometimes I’m surprised when I listen to an original album and the song that follows isn’t the one I’m expecting.
