@endo nice one! Sitting in the garden, a warm late afternoon, a cold beer, a good book, smoking a pipe, perfect match

This whole thread is sooo inspiring guys!

Friday feelinggg

Revisited today, because this is beautiful.

RIP to Newk aka Sonny aka Walter Theodore Rollins. It’s wild how someone you’ve never met can have such a profound impact on how you go about life. A Great Day in Harlem, as with all good things, finally comes to an end.

Been playing The Bridge all day. Would have continued well into the night but I haven’t had much luck finding a proper copy on vinyl.

The Bridge is a great album. RIP Sonny Rollins. Pretty sure that's the last of the 50s/60s greats gone now.

I think you are right
I remember hearing an interview with him a couple years ago and being genuinely suprised he was still around even then

I dont NEED 3 copies but here we are......

Uraguayan stereo (oddly enough my favorite), US mono, US stereo

Uraguayan stereo ...

That alone already sounds wonderful.

Yeah, right. And I dont NEED XHS, UHR, 21oz, 21oz SBG, 18oz....

[GraemeE]

@68degreesorless this is exactly why I knew the forum was a safe place to confess my crimes

Something between a confessional and an AA meeting.
