Wax Treasure (Vinyl)

After you listen to a record, how do you decide what’s next? I feel like there’s often interesting little connections for me. I started with To Bonnie from Delaney tonight and really enjoyed the Robert johnson medley and was also digging the horn section, which of course made me think of bb king. Then I was loving the way Lucille sounded and started thinking about great guitar and will now be listening to Blow by Blow next. It’s interesting how mind and music work together.

@GraemeE I like the food analogy: I love steak, but I don’t want to eat it every day. Same with music. There’s too much interesting stuff to listen to to restrict myself to one or two genres. Which is something I’m sure you can relate to. My forum handle is by design somewhat misleading, because my favourite genre of music is metal in most of its facets (bands I wouldn’t listen to if you paid me: Babymetal, almost every Nightwish copycat, noodly guitar wankery such as Polyphia, and I don’t understand the appeal of and acclaim for Lorna Shore and Sleep Token). But I do love krautrock, hence the name
