Isle of Man TT

Might not be the correct place to ask, but here goes, ANYONE go to the Isle of Man TT?? I'm in South Florida and want to plan a trip for next year. All I know about it, it's fast and LOUD! I have so many questions! Anyone??

haven't been, but watching the races. those guys have got balls of steel.

I’ve not been yet, I know quite a few of the riders. Many are local to where I live. The likes of Guy Martin, Peter Hickman, and lots of older riders, Roger Burnett, Roger Marshal. Cadwell Park is near to me, great circuit. I’ve done a few trackdays there. The TT is great, but equally sad when the worst happens.

Used to go every year in the late 80s early 90s
Half the family on my mums side hail from there and still have quite a few relatives there so was the family holiday destination don’t think I’ve ever recovered from the ferry overIt’s the timing they use in the TT I like
Average fastest speed wins it’s mental -
@Rick448 I try to go to the BSB meeting at Cadwell each year, it's a great circuit,
I've been to the IoM plenty, for the rally they have there each year but never been to the TT, I'd love to though.

@NickD I used to do all of the Cadwell BSB rounds, but haven’t been for ages. I was lucky enough to see Barry Sheen there many years ago, and it was great to see Marshal and Burnett on Rothmans NSR500’s round there, as well as a rookie Wayne Gardner on the Morawaki Kawasaki complete with bright orange body warmer. I’m showing my age now

This, Goodwood, and Silverstone GP are bucket list for the Isles.

Perhaps an IoM - IH trip for 2026??? I would sell a kidney to ensure I join in.

You’ll need to book around a year in advance for TT week. I’m not good enough at planning stuff to have gone to it yet!
