This thread has inspired me to buy some chukkas!  How do they fit?  Similar to Nikes or other athletic footwear?  I'm an US 13 in Nike and Addidas for reference.

99% of the classic vans run about a half size big. The chukka boot seems a little bit smaller than the chukka low and most other classic vans. I usually rock a 9.5 in vans (era, authentic, chukka low), but the chukka boot I can rock in 10 which is my tts. In other words almost all vans classics fit about the same as converse Jack Purcells and about a half size smaller than chuck taylors.

Does anyone have a source for the black/gum chukka in US size 13?  I can find the black/black but I want this colorway!

Dimitri Coste had a very cool pair of flat track boots run up by Vans.

Vans Syndicate Native American-Rodney Smith Pack. There is also a red Vans Era that goes with the pack.  Suede, Perforated Suede and Tumbled Leather upper. Butter soft leather liner and gel heel insole. For $125, they were more than worth it.

don't blame me…Rafael forced me to...

I like 'em! not entirely sure how I should lace them. right now I do it classical which looks kinda goofy with skate shoes IMO. but the leather laces are so thick and sturdy

edit: leather is nice although the right shoe had this "wavy" look when leather got wet already from the start.
and one stitcjing is sloppy. well, they are still made in China so...

well tbh i don´t really like that way of lacing…i always do it the other way round (von Innen nach Außen!) this way you can pull the laces way easier as "your" way imo.

i need new black shoes/boots...hmmmmmm!
