I'm a big proponent of preventive maintenance.  Go ahead and sew that spot up.  Crotch blowouts are virtually guaranteed with jeans, so try to get in there early and often to stave it off.  Right now it's a quick and easy fix that you can do yourself.  Later on, it will require a lot more work and maybe some professional intervention.

Hello all! new to the forum, decided to post my progress. IH 634s, exactly 4 months today, no washes or soaks.

Looks like good wear for 4 months. The combs are gonna be great. Keep us updated - I love seeing worn in 634's!

All the pics look great.  I am about a week or so into the pair I grabbed from Dr. Pat.  Really great denim.  My first pair of sanforized, and I can see sticking with it.

i get em alot, but i think its from skateboarding.  probably puts alot more stress on the area.  however….my 634s's have no signs of one yet!

Yeah permanent bleach spots all down the back of my legs 

Yes they got a verbal acid bath for sure!!!! and a nice little sticker shock when they found out how much a replacement pair will be 

my bigger issue with the whole thing is who leaves the bleach bottle cap unscrewed? how savage can you be?
