Excellent, thanks @68degreesorless

@68degreesorless - I just noticed your profile picture!
I have just bought tix to see the Carp play in Hiroshima in April.
From what I have read, the home fans are very committed. I am looking forward to it.
Have you seen them play?
-
@Bridger No, I was there in November so no baseball unfortunately. I would love to go back and see them some day. We made a day trip to Hiroshima and I was smitten by their logo, swag, and the story behind the team. From what I hear, they are quite competitive despite having a lower budget and small hometown. Enjoy the game!

Shame you didn't make a game @68degreesorless
It does sound like the team has an interesting history. I get the impression they are almost crowd funded for lack of corporate sponsorship.
I have seen a few games in Tokyo, but keen to experience a different atmosphere with diehard fans.

Hey all, I am heading to Japan in a week, for a week. Most of my time will be spent in Osaka, with a day in Kyoto and two nights in Tokyo.
I may visit Iron Heart in Osaka, but wondering if anyone has any recommendations? Ive a variety of stores on my list but any "hidden gems" you want to unhide for me?

-
Hi everyone,
I am planning a Japan trip and wondering if anyone had recommendations when it comes to areas to visit.
I am doing Osaka and will be sure to check out the Iron Heart store there.
Any other stores that may have unique denim not available online?
Thanks!

@irondad86 your post has been moved here. There are also multiple other Japanese cities listed here: https://forum.ironheart.co.uk/category/20/japan

@irondad86 I've visited Osaka a few times and can say you'll definitely have access to a lot of pieces that aren't online in the heritage denim world. Given the whole scene has its roots in Osaka/Okayama, you have some brands that are headquartered there - including Fullcount, Warehouse and Samurai. I visited Samurai in February and it was a great experience away from the America Mura tourist chaos. Studio D'Artisan has a small but well stocked store also and if you want access to some pieces that are exclusive to or more targeted to the Japan domestic market then Klaxon and and Blue In Green would be good. Also, I've visited UES a few times and the staff are super friendly. Most of these spots also offer tax free pricing, so don't forget your passport. Enjoy Osaka
