I don't have this colorway, but I have this jacket in 3 flavors.  I can't speak much for the rain, because I'm in southern California and we rarely get it nowadays, but I can speak for the temperature.  I ordered this to throw over a sweater or flannel.  It's a very thin jacket, so it's not exactly warm, but nothing gets through it, so it's a phenomenal shell!  Great for canceling out wind.
