@BrianA Not at all - perfect summer shorts. Material is substantial, but not heavyweight.

@BrianA Yup @tody Is absolutely right - these are perfect summer shorts! Wore them a lot on our Indonesia trip. I can imagine the black getting a bit warm in direct sunlight though, so keep that in mind.

digging up this thread to praise these shorts - they are my go-to summer shorts, before the west point and even the easy shorts.
the whipcord is starting to fade nicely. the waistband shows they're a hair too tight, but i'd be swimming in a 38.
