WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY - WAYDT (PICS)

[Chap]

Need to give mine a polish

[goosehd]

Step 1 of many…

Thanks @Giles

[Giles]

For the lighting?

[goosehd]

Yep, for the idea.

[Giles]

Hve fun

[goosehd]

@Giles ..after 10 years, Laura has finally decided on a backsplash for the kitchen.  Redoing the lights, moving switches is step 1, then fixing holes, repainting, tiling, grouting…..

[Chap]

Have a great weekend everyone….

Looks like quince will be ready to harvest soon

[Nik]

Driving to Weymouth for Ironman 70.3 tomorrow

[endo]

nice 'tache Nk

[Chap]

Spend the morning strolling through the woods…

[Giles]

Nice hat…..

[Chap]

@Giles:

Nice hat…..

Yep…

[endo]

@Chap:

@Chap  I was tempted to say that little cutie (dog) steals the show, but not with that hat …

[Chap]

She always steels the show… but her cuteness is just camo, she can be pretty maleficent

[ARNC]

@Chap I also went to see the trees (but without the stunning hat and haul of mushrooms). One tree clearly wasn’t too pleased to see me but another was much more accommodating. I just sat there surrounded by green for over an hour until my batteries were recharged.

[Chap]

Very nice @ARNC I do that quite often… always helpful after a busy day at work. The Japanese call it Shinrin Yoku - Forest bathing

I hadn’t come across the specific term, but I know trees are good for me.

[Chap]

I know it’s getting boring…

It’s not @Chap , I love these mushroom posts even though I know next to nothing about them. Seems like we have very little knowledge/books/recipes about tropical shrooms than temperate ones. Please keep the mushroom pics, comments and dishes coming!

[Matt]

I love the idea of foraging for mushrooms.  I’ve never tried.  Not much in the way of options out here though.  I could forage for tumbleweeds maybe.
