WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY - WAYDT (PICS)

[Cole]

Since I am a Star Wars Nerd and had a few hours spare time today I finished one of my little nerd projects. Not perfect, but not bad for a first try.

Original out of the box (a bit flashy and orange for a Stormtrooper):

Hah, that's pretty cool! @Cole You spent some time on that I imagine.

Thanks.

Yes, it took far more time then I imagned it to. I tell you, they allways make stuff like this look so easy on youtube, but in reality and without practice it's not that fast.  But it was great fun and I think the next one will be finished a bit quicker.

Today we spent the afternoon at the Weston-Super-Mare Airshow and the Red Arrows were displaying. Jules captured this image of the syncro pair ending their routine with love . . . . .

After Barbecue pipe and a wee dram…

[neph93]

That pipe! That lighter! Lovely bits of kit. Do you know anything about their provenance?

[Chap]

Hi neph93 thanks for asking. The pipe is made by danish pipemaker Tom Eltang one of my favorite pipemakers and the lighter is made by a german company called Sillems.

Really beautiful. I'll have to look them up. Thanks for the info.

Well I was finishing the one outdoor studio and fitting my new windshield. Yes all windshields are ugly but such a useful piece.
Once the oil coat cures tomorrow I will add my wheels and tires to the deck and it will look miluch more complete. Probably should grab my dad's on Moto guzzi scooter as that will be a brilliant prop…and I want to rebuild it to run again

I kinda like all these self made? signs

My father lives in South Africa.  I have not seen him for about 5 years, he is on holiday in Northern Spain, so we dashed out for a couple of days to meet up.  Weather is average, but view from balcony acceptable….

[ROman]

View looks great.

Making firewood out of a chair I smashed at the same time as I wrote off my 666SIIs (i fell off a desk hanging jeans from the ceiling) in my new double indigos, PIH5DCT.

Clearly you're ok so I'll just add

My thoughts exactly…...

Unfortunately you cannot fit a ladder behind the oversized standing desk (which only ever sits)
