Had quite the night last night.  One of my friends threw Dork and Fork III, the third of a party he has started hosting annually every year.

He got a block of 120 tickets to see the Hobbit in 3D.  Packed the theater…

Afterwards we all went back to his house where he gave a rousing speech making many references to LoTR thanking us, the sackville bagginses, proudfoots (proudfeet!), etc…

And then came the main event.  He provided my favorite farm to table restaurant/food trucks in the area with 200 lbs of wild game and fish that a bunch of us caught, and man did they cook it up great!

The remnants of two of the plates. Roast wild turkey, and goose breast with feta and cranberry sauce…

Also head deer heart, rack, and loin as well as some squirrel and raccoon stew and some salt perch.  Best time and food I've had in a while

awesome….i saw these fekkers 3 times live too in HAMBURG ...some years ago
every show is/was a great experience!

It's my local brewery, I do some export work with them….Hole Hearted won SIBA bottled beer of the year about 4 years ago and I Can't Believe it's Not Bitter, best speciality beer a couple of years ago...

Tonight we're going to a Christmas party hosted by a local law firm.  The entertainment? Ton-Loc and Coolio.  This would have been a hot ticket, circa 1992.  God, I'm old.  And surrounded by douches.
