Burnishing wouldn't do anything to help the leather separating.  Is the stitching coming apart? If it isn't and the space really bothers you… You might try some leather epoxy

I'd be surprised if the stitching is coming apart.  I suspect that it is mild separation on the fold, this bit goes through immense flex and stress, I'd be surprised if it did not separate a little.

The stitching is holding up perfectly, I'm just anal. I'll probably try that epoxy and update sometime down the line. Thanks for the help guys

very clean looking mumbles! mine looks horribly dirty and no matter how i used the saddle soap to clean them, it's still very dirty looking. but oh well, i still love them!

^i have a black so can't comment on tans evo but, I will tell you this has awesome functionality. Ask MikeC for a photo he has it in tan.

Hey,

Was hoping to get some suggestions, just picked up a Tanner wallet and looking for a wallet chain. I would like to get a tan leather one that will age right along with the wallet. Was wondering what you guys might suggest?

One other thing, not sure If I want a great big long teather hanging way down, would rather have a shorter one. I like the IH  Plaited Calf Wallet Leash but thinking it might be a little long.

I would take a measuring tape a measure a piece of string or something and see how it looks. I don't think 17" is that long. Measure something and hook it up to your wallet/belt loop and see how you feel about it.
