That right there is what got me to post to this thread.  I had actually been thinking about the tightness of the 634S for a few days but when I saw the 1955S, and that it's about 1.3" bigger in the thigh (if I go from my 634S size 33 to 1955S size 34), I wanted to get some opinions.

I'm going to try not to gain size in that area, but hopefully the 1955S will be around should I need them (I noticed they're extant, yay!)

That's a very clean look, in my opinion, Paul. Then again, I like my denim to fit snug as opposed to loose. Give me a shout if you decide to part with them–though I doubt you will. I know of someone looking to make their first foray into IH denim the 634s and he is your size. (33.)

Yeah, that's EXACTLY how I feel.  Silly, isn't it?  I've grown super-attached to these.  I feel like they'll be sad if I stop wearing them

I did just pull the trigger on a size 34 1955S, though.  I'm going to keep wearing these 634S, but I think I'm also going to keep working out regularly, which means that at some point soon, these will become a bit tight.  Obviously the 1955S will not be sitting on a shelf waiting, but I'd like to keep the 634S as my daily denim.

@Shoreman if they do become too tight soon, I will definitely let you know!

The 9634Z is effectively the same cut, but it does have a zipper fly.
