they do chainstitching on US
knowledgeable staffthey've got N&F, Japan Blue/Momo, Eternal, Railcar, and a gang of US-sewn jeans made w/jap denim
they also have one or two limited release Mildblend original jeans (saw one 10 issue jean made w/green denim)

Independence is hard to find. Looking "between Rush and LSD" would be a futile endeavor.
Independence is located on the south side of Oak St., between State St. and Michigan Ave.

Anybody in Chicago or the surrounding areas, or anyone already planning to hit up the Stitchdown Expo on November 6th and 7th next weekend?
If you’ve got the time, I highly recommend grabbing a general admission ticket for Friday or Saturday. It’s a fun way to spend an afternoon, especially if you’re into boots/shoes/leather and all this stuff.
This will be my third year going, and I always have a great time. Just look for the guy with mostly gray hair at this point(top is still dark, for now) probably wearing Iron Heart from head to toe and a pair of engineer boots. I’m sure I’ll be really easy to spot in that crowd.

Independence moved by the way, they are at 1909 Division now. I'll probably go to stitchdown too.
