I have these in a W32 and they're a little tight in the top block, thinking of getting a better fitting size.. AHHH

@Jord I'm snagging new pairs of all my staples (this one, SBG, and 25 IB) in one size larger this round. 36 is probably the "perfect" fit for me but it can get tight during the winter months and i still get more crotch blow-outs than I'd care for. Hoping a size 38 solves all those issues for me, though I could see myself still needing to tailor the waist slightly.

@kojimastreets I sized up on a pair I have now and that was the best decision! Especially with the 21oz being soft from the gate and now having more room through out the jeans is even better. Best pair for work!!

@warriors22 I'm covering all my bases, if I lose or gain weight I'll still have a pair of my favourite denim

I've tried loads of different brands denim around 20-22oz, and IH 21oz is my absolute favourite, it's just so comfortable and wearable. I like UHR and 25oz and own a few pairs, but always end up wearing my 21oz'ers.

For anyone who rotates between the 888s and 1955s cuts… I’m curious how the room in the top block compares, especially in the seat area. I know the front rise in the 888s tends to be lower than in the 1955s, so I wanted to know how that affects us gentlemen with larger glutes. Do you tend to size up or down, or just keep the same size?

I’ve checked out the charts, but still wanted to hear firsthand from others who rely on the high rise. Been waiting for this drop for a while now, very stoked!

@Chazzy I rotate between the 2. I find the difference in the rise, while you can notice it, it is not a big enough different to worry about sizing the waist differently. I look for the same starting waist in both cuts (as long as both denims will stretch with wear).

I've compared the new and old size charts and looks like size are a bit larger in new iteration. New 32" is closer to old 33" and new 33" is closer to old 34" in almost all dimensions. Should I size down?

@zymosi3 always go with the measurements that best fit you. If sizing down gives you better measurements, then yes.

Just ordered mine. It's crazy I have 888s in the XHS, XHSib, and UHRs, but I am just now getting to the magical 21oz. Can't wait to start breaking these in!
