D97x7 with physical proof! Looks like it can be done. if you want a slimmer silhouette then size down and stretch, if you want a straight fit then go with the 38.

I think it is just personal preferance. Personally I only cuff selvage jeans cause of the selvage and the clean cut look. It is annoying to see non-selvage jeans cuffed, but I gave up caring a while ago. Just a pet peeve of mine, but do as you wish.

it doesn't matter cuffing is an issue of utilitarianism. it depends on the shoe and situation. i have jeans that i have to cuff with a pair of boots, but with a pair of vans or chucks they don't sit the same way. if i'm working outdoors and it gets hot out….i'm gonna cuff my jeans. though i personally like selvedge denim because i respect the craftsmanship involved i think purposely trying to show it off is just snobby. i like well made things that look good and are utilitarian, but i dont care about fashion and thats what this argument seems to be about.
however...... this thread is about the 9634z and how much we love it so we should probably continue this discussion somewhere else.

Straight cut : cuff
denim that has same color inside(obadai or else): no cuff
"regular" Blue jeans: cuffquoted for truth

I love the zipper on my 9634Zs… Prefer buttons, but really haven't been bothered by the zipper thus far...
+1. The only time I notice it is when I take them off because I'm so used to unbuttoning my other jeans.

yeah, one of these days i'm gonna rip the zipper off completely if i'm not careful. thats how forcefully i remove my pants. be afraid, be very afraid.
Just have to wait for next week, payday and all. Hope the 38s aren't flying out before then!
