Scuba anyone?

[Giles]

[dirtyframer]

@Giles where are you diving? The Mrs. And I are heading back to Thailand in spring for a marathon of diving but are always looking for new places!

[Giles]

Komodo.....

Specifically...

[Bridger]

@Giles will you visit the national park and ride a dragon?

[dirtyframer]

@Giles that would be a great detour for us, im going to have the Mrs. look into it

@Giles said in Scuba anyone?:

Blue Ringed Octopus. Slightly poisonous….

very beautiful, but tetrodotoxin is no joke.

The name of the boat we are going to be diving on next spring

We are in the National Park. Well, to be accurate 100 meters away from the Eastern boundary. I suspect we may be offered the opportunity to go to one of the islands that the dragons live on at some point....

[Bridger]

Amazing @Giles, that sounds epic. Very jealous.

[Giles]

It would be way more epic if I had bought a fishing rod or two. Komodo is famous for its GT fishing

[Bridger]

If there aren't local stores surely Amazon can deliver in 48 hours

[Giles]

To the arsehole of nowhere ?

[Giles]

Not bitching because my Indonesian pronunciation is pretty shit , but I am amused. Our dive group comprises:

Gilless
Pow-la
Niggel
Shay-la

@Giles outstanding

[Giles]

I don’t do the photos, I just turn up

What is this guy thinking? Check out how he is looking at the photographer. He's not impressed.

Another feckin' tourist, needing all that kit just to swim around.

[Giles]

My left ear played up a bit on the first dive. Lots of boats here for the second dive, which means lots of divers, and I don’t dive to see divers, so skipping the dive. Gave me the opportunity of photographing @Madame-Buttonfly as she jumped in…..

It’s a famous Manta dive, so FOMO already kicking in….
