Congrats to everyone who went the distance and especially those who placed. Mine fell short at the final hurdle, top 16 following the public vote but didn't impress the judges seemingly. I had a blast though!

Congrats man, pair looks amazing and to all the forum members made it the distance. Whole year is impressive. I’m putting some more miles on my pair.
Also the members that placed top 5! Big shout out to @denim-dawg such a pleasure watching the progress all year. -

You guys! A little late reply here, as I I’m still both Chuffed - and stupefied with joy. Feel like I found my people in you denim heads, and as a person who’s always been told that I wear out my clothes too fast, and the costume makers always have to repair the stuff I wear for work at the theatre, here it is suddenly a good thing
turns out maybe something that’s not so good in one place, is great in another context.Was only a single point between the top three, and these places are really tight as a left hand twill selvedge.
I cheers and dig all 2,500 who started out this years Y5. It really is a joyride, and gives the year a very different experience - fading a pair along with all you like minded beautiful people. Fantastic to see the Forum friends here (although not at all surprised):

Slow to get back to the thread, huge congrats to everyone here! You all had some killer pairs. This was my first year, and I had no idea what to expect, and it was a blast. I loved seeing the progress.
My Wrangler 13MWZs got put to the test and it has inspired me to pick up one of the big guns and run it back for IIY6! Stoked to join along with you all next season.

Congrats to everyone who made it through the year!! It‘s hard to believe how quickly the year has gone by and just how much our jeans have changed along the way. I have seen so many incredible fades and I can only imagine how difficult it must have been for the judges to choose their favorites.
This was my first time and I am incredibly happy to make it into the top 50 with my Slubby. It‘s been a great experience.

@denim-dawg I’ve caught the bug for sure. Might be a different one to go with, but I’m thinking I’m gonna pull the trigger on the 14oz 1955 Overdyed. I’ve always wanted some Overdyed Iron Hearts, and this seems like the best reason.
