The VMC batch is leaving the factory tomorrow to g up t Hachioji for QC, not sure on the timings of the XHS versions atm, just need to make sure VMC get their's before the party…..G

Not sure if this has already been mentioned, and I couldn't find it anywhere in this thread, but will these have lined back pockets for us knife carriers?

Also, any chance the Beatle Buster ever sees a release in this denim? It seems that we have a very slim cut (666) and a pretty loose cut (634), but nothing in between in terms of fit for this material.

No they wont, result would be too bulky and anyway the Vulcan is being released for knife carriers.

Makes sense. I'd imagine that 25 oz. denim would take a while to wear through anyway.

But actually thinking about it.  Haraki is the master of heavy denim.  I think that is indisputable.

This denim caused so may problems in production that it was touch or go whether we could continue the project.

We lost more denim in QC than Haraki has ever seen go to second grade.

Then the construction of the jeans was virtually impossible.

Haraki travelled to Okiyama twice as often as normal to oversee what was going on and to provide moral support.  There is a lot of Harakis blood sweat and tears in these jeans.

The cost was astronomical and I am am going to have to raise the price from 450 to 480.  We are all having to take a financial hit on this escapade.

But are the jeans worth it?  Well, I have seen them and worn them.  I've doubled my order…....

Oh, okay. but, i can't find the specification of the fabric from 1st page until current page.
I just want to know to convince my self.  just like kiya, he always tells us on his page what fabric he using for each jeans.:)

I know He is a master of jeans, that's why we love Iron Heart jeans. Fucking awesome..! but once more, i just want to know if you don't mind.

What specification are you looking for? It's 25oz, sanforized, kick ass indigo selvage denim.. What more is there to know?

I got this note from Ayumi this morning.

_Even though people behind 21oz production who have been used to it, 23oz and 25oz are totally different experience. Haraki san can give pretty accurate cost for 21oz items, but it is hard to tell when it comes about new items.

There is always possibility that the factory give up making them or deny taking order from IH since IH items are very hard to sew. Haraki san has to make them do by visiting them a lot, find solution together and keep eyes on them which cost a lot too. This is how hard making items like Iron Heart and Haraki san would like you to understand._

I don't want to unnecessarily hype the 25oz jeans, and I really hope that we can continue making them, but it is clear that these really are at the limit of what is sensibly possible to weave and construct.
