                    Just picked and ate my first habanero of the year. Small but packed a kick and the flavour was superb. Probably the best tasting chilli I typically grow.

                                Brought a couple new house plants (or outdoors in pots during summer) home from my Seattle visit

                                          Very strong winds over the last days are bringing down most of this year’s yet unripe mango fruit. Guaranteeing local scarcity come November-December when fully ripe.

                                            One of the commonest and hardier local orchids around here, Jitabay is the indigenous name (Cyrtopodium punctatum).
                                            This one is at my brother’s house. Puts out massive floral bursts. Always a joy to see at full bloom.
