the site has some conflicting information.  I did not get to wash as I will be sleeping in it tonight

These shirts must be washed before wear, in so doing the fabric will "bed-in" and become thicker and more durable
Raw, so come slightly oversized and will shrink to size (sizing table is post shrink size)

They need to be washed before wear because they are raw and the table measurements are post wash….

I read that 3 time and it just makes complete sense to me…...

I guess there is a small variation in sizes.  I'd be interested to see both your pre-wash and post-wash measurements…..

Don't mix this up with the printed tees: printed/graphic tees are washed when you get them, according to G.

That is correct.  All the printed Tee's are washed after being printed.  Haraki likes to screen print onto raw tee's, hence the plain tee's are not washed

Sorry, I have one of the printed tees, so I was getting the specs mixed up with the plain ones.

An xl looks fine to me in all other dimensions apart fom the shoulders (which I'm probably measuring wrong)  ::)

Finally did a wash, no smaller than the initial measurements which were spot on to Giles measurements.  Maybe I had a one wash?  Either way, love the fit and will get a printed shirt when Giles gets them again!

best fitting shirts - luxuriously soft - I love squeezing the tag on the bottom left - cheap compared to a certain other brand that charges double - the "blacks" aren't black enough though, this is kind of annoying when you need a BLACK shirt ya know, luckily I got some blacks from the initial run - all in all best shirts ever, simply put

Any ideas yet of other colours, Giles?..
