Since I can not wear jeans to work anymore and after seeing G wear is IH-701's…... these are growing on me.  I would definitely got for the khaki/tan pair.

May have to pick these up depending on pics of more accurate color. They look more dark brown and grey on my monitor at work.

I already have khaki, olive, black in the 701

If these are indeed made out of the fabric that I think they will, yes, def. softer than 804 - also due to the fact that the 804 is paraffin coated. The 703 fabric reminds me of an army tent material, very sturdy and yet, bendy…

what about stretchy? will the serge material stretch?  I know the 703 is going to be different material. Splattered did your 701 stretch out in the waist?

Sorry i posted in the other thread, i've been wearing mine for forever and wash/dried them and stretching has been minimal with and without a belt(i'm more lax about the belt with these than i am the jeans)

Yes, imo Cargo's are a lot better a little loose than too tight…....

I'm glad people are jumping on board with these now but i'm curious, why the change of heart? When the 701 was revealed everyone seemed to scoff at them…

i just think & thought folks wouldn't really purchase them.  i thought/think it is always better to get exactly what folks are asking for as opposed to having a bunch of these in stock on the shelves & no one buying them until you do a fire sale.  i still say don't stock them. just do them by request.

then again i do tend to stand by what i say & admit when i'm out of line 

so maybe i was wrong on the 701s   i did try to get a pair what seems like many, many moons ago.  & just like i said with the 701s take of the freckin' side pockects & sell them as a heavy work pant.
