@michael.rose0107 it's pretty substantial, but I got mine slightly oversized. Worn all day yesterday on a 20C sunny day with a thin TShirt and it was perfect. Would perhaps be a bit warm during a 30C heatwave.. Note that the shirt is quite dark, so in direct sunlight heating up some more...
                Insanely comfortable feel for sure!

I missed out on this one, and am now looking at retailers. What did you all do in regard of sizing?
Last year, I got the wabash mechanic shirt, and that is sitting fairly loose on me, which probably is what a mechanic shirt should do.
Of course I know how to read the measurements and compare them, my question is more based on 'feel', and if this cut works if aimed at a more tailored fit through sizing down.
@Tobi - which size did you get?

@tody For me short sleeve shirts are for casual days in the summer and sunny holidays and for that reason I like them to be loose-ish fitting, nothing worse than a slim fitting garment sticking to my skin on a hot day, given that and the comments about the substantial feel of this shirt I was pleased to see the P2P and shoulder measurements slightly above what I would normally go for in a UHF/western of the same size.

The measurements also seem to compare pretty nicely to a couple of short sleeve shirts I own already, sleeve length and sleeve opening particularly. If it does turn out to be slightly too loose then could still be a keeper as I'm really liking the pics of it above with a white T underneath which means it could work for the slightly less warm days.

Hopefully getting delivered today so will update later if my thought process is proven correct!

@tody I went XXXL, up one size from my "usual" IH shirting size. I tried on XXL and it would have easily worked as well with room to spare, but decided to go really very loose fit with this. Personal preference, and also peace of mind for any possible shrink. I anticipate to wash this shirt a lot...

@tody I’m a large in UHFs and a large or medium in work shirts and CPOs depending on the shirt. I went smaller with the medium based on measurements. I’ll let you know if I made the right decisions when it arrives.
