@SonnyTheElder in post 2078 and 2079 you can see how my black sashiko shirt looks shrunk and what my indigo one looks like after being hemmed. They are the same size. Spacing is definitely off and that was a concern to me, but decided it was less of a concern then how long the shirt was on me.

Here's my black one hemmed. I have really gotten use to the spacing. -
@SonnyTheElder I only have an after picture that can find. I sent it out pretty quickly. They did the retaping on the hem which came out really well and they kept the original shape just cut off 2”
Mine is also a 3xl so it’s fairly long to start even after hot washing and drying, the spacing looking pretty normal to me

Can't wait for my indigo sashiko. Still don't believe I scored one. June was the ETA but hahah we'll see. Wonder if them moving house affects them at all.

I mostly lurk here, but I picked up a 2XL and had it shortened, even for me at 6'3" it was pretty long. I think that's the move...

Can't wait to see what the hype is all about. RGT sashiko didn't work for me so hopefully this does. Measurements look right. These seem to have a bit of length to them, but so do IH CPOs and I am used to that already.

Seems like ship john japan also has a drop and they ship international. But the measurements seem different. Large has a 62 cm chest which looks spot on for me but I never in a million times fit a large in a US made SJ Shirt or IH so am a little nervous about that ?? Any suggestions?

@FlavourFade Noticed this too since I was lurking on them. However looking at their sizing it's a no go. The denim ones look cool.

@Northman sleeve length is a little short but the other dimensions look good to me tbh

@FlavourFade Yep. The sizing is geared towards the Japanese body for the SJ Japan line that is being made in Japan.
