IHJ-122-IND - 14oz Broken Twill Selvedge Denim Work Jacket - Indigo
-
@FlavourFade I got the OD variant on a clothes hanger at home. It's so good I thought I'd see if there are any Indigos in Europe but looks like not.
-
@Northman yeah I see... I regret a bit not grabbing one but on the other hand IH brings out amazing stuff all the time so there's gonna be something else to grab
-
@FlavourFade Good point. You just talked some sense in to me so thanks. Anyway I hope it is obvious that the broken twill jacket was a success.

This is the perfect yin to the 19oz 526lod yang. Light and easy to wear.

Howdy folks, this is my first IH jacket and really first heritage jacket. I went for it for lots of reasons namely the zipper. Sometimes it really sucks being tall and thin but IH does a good job.
Wondering if I should try to size down to Lg? I have an XL here bc of my broad shoulders. As seen, it fits well but not “fitted”. Looks great with a flannel and can fit a hoodie snugly
I’m also curious if hot washing/dry might assist to snug it up a touch. No idea how these things drape and break in over time!
6’2” 170lb
19” shoulders
39-40 chest
Thanks folks

@deathbydenim tbh I think that fit is pretty good, doesn't look baggy with a tee but you can layer if needed. The fabric should mold to your body, shoulders drape better when you wear the jacket a bit and the sleeves will crease and shorten a bit with that. Normal washes should not result in shrinking but here are folks who shrinked there shirts with super hot washes, for me that never really worked. A size down could work too but I would look at the measurements very closely.
