IHSH-438-IND - 7.5oz Selvedge Corduroy Western Shirt - Indigo
-
Now purchased.

-
Super stoked about this beauty! It sold out on the US stores quick!
-
I love it. I would definitely buy this in beige
-
@AdamJ MrPorter carries this cord shirt from Kaptain Sunshine, also made in Japan. Not exactly the same style and my size is not available anymore, but it inspires me.
-
@AdamJ Hi Adam, are these shirts seasonal or core items? And yes, khaki color on this shirt would be awesome!
-
@goosehd Great, thank you. Im in shock that these didn’t disappear immediately! They’re really special, and the fade potential is beautiful on indigo dyed corduroy.
-
Where are all the fit pics????
-
They didn’t disappear because the sizing is kinda off

-
@hugothecowboy I thought the same although tbh I wish more shirts were sized the way these are. That being said im not always sure how many people know how spot on the @ShopatIronHeart is at getting the correct garment to folks if you email them you measurments or specifics
-
@Bane011 I think the sizing and the pricing is a little suprising on these. overall they are beautiful and will fade amazingly but $425 isnt unreasonable or wrong by any means but it is more than most UHFs have been in the past and closer in cost to most CPOs that have arguably more functionality.
I cant wait to see som eevos on these and maybe be able to pick one up one day though

That is because new stuff typically gets priced at "what it should be" based on the cost to produce. Older stuff including reruns, new fabric patterns in an existing style (UHF's for instance), often lag behind, because the Japan crew are slow at looking at the true cost for stuff we have done before.
Given the massive rise manufacturing costs in Japan, expect to see eye watering price increases as we move forwards.
Needless to say, this is not just an Iron Heart issue, it is whole-of-Japan-manufacturing issue.
Oh, and to throw gasoline on the fire, that we really did not need:

Just in case you cant link to it:
"Stock markets have fallen and the price of oil has risen after Washington and Tehran threatened to escalate hostilities, as the US-Israel war with Iran enters its fourth week.
Japan's Nikkei share index closed 3.5% lower, London's FTSE 100 fell 1.9% while the price of Brent crude rose 1%."
"Gold is usually seen as a safe haven in times of severe conflict, but a collision of factors is pushing down demand," says Susannah Streeter, chief investment strategist at Wealth Club.
One is that the surge in energy prices seen since the conflict began is expected to push up inflation. This expectation is already increasing interest rates on government bonds. This makes gold a less attractive asset to hold as it earns no interest.

@Giles these things happen and prices go up. It's a shame, but there it is. It's not a bad thing having to be a bit more selective about which items I pick up. That said, despite the wince at the price, I still added MOP snaps to the shirt. ; )
-
@Giles the cost of running business is always unique and IH remains extremely reasonable. That is one of the reasons that I chimed in. There is always a justifiable reason even if it’s complicated. Appreciate everything you do and are sir. Onward and upward
